If you are a sucker for tool brand bottle openers, Knipex and Stahlwille have a surprise for you this year. Knipex is offering a Knipex Cobra-themed bottle opener. It comes as a gift in the Knipex pliers kit, which includes 10″ knipex side cutter and the amazing 10″ Twin Grips.
Knipex Bottle Opener
What I like about this 7″ Knipex bottle opener is how detailed it is on the front. You might think it is the bigger brother of Knipex Cobra XS. I reckon it would have been cooler if it were detailed the same way on both sides, but it is what it is.
Like other Knipex tools, the quality of the bottle opener is unmatched. It feels solid in the hand, and it screams class!
This pliers combo kit makes for a perfect Father’s Day gift for that special man. He will love it!
Unfortunately, the Knipex bottle opener is only available as part of the kit. You cannot buy it alone.
Stahlwille Bottle Opener
While the Knipex Bottle Opener is crafted from the mighty Knipex Cobra, the Stahlwille Bottle Opener is inspired by Stahlwille’s torque wrench produced in the special edition of “Best Tools Never Die”.
The Stahlwille bottle opener is a small square tube with rounded edges and a bottle opener on one side. It also features spanner holes on both sides that can serve as split ring holes for hanging it with your keys.
The cartoon etched on the front side with the inscription: “Best tools never die” makes the Stahlwille bottle opener really cool . It reminds me of the slogan “Buy Once Cry Once” when buying quality tools.
Another thing that makes this bottle opener a great pick for geeks and nerds, is the torque formula etched on the side. You don’t have to Google! This makes it a perfect gift for tool geeks and nerds. I also like that you can buy it alone.
Both the Knipex and Stahlwille bottle openers are amazing German-made novelty workshop bottle openers. However, I think they appeal to different categories of people. The Stahlwille opener may excite tool geeks and nerds more, while the Knipex opener is for guys who love pliers like me 🙂
As a Knipex Tools fanboy, I hate the fact that the Knipex bottle opener only comes as a gift in a pliers tool set. You cannot purchase it alone. But you can never go wrong with Knipex pliers, so why not get that kit anyway!
